ClickSALUKI BREED NOTES WEEKENDING 12TH AUGUST 2022
Fast on the heels of the last “Breed Records Supplement” we have received the first quarter of 2022. That is from January to March. There were 4 litters registered with a total of 23 puppies. Two of the litters I am familiar with; their combined breeding totalling is 6. One other litter had 10 and the other 7. There was one Importation from Lithuania. Afida Khatam Magma, a cream bitch owned by a Miss J Baxter. In the NCL roll of honour for a ‘clear score’ were 5 Salukis. Al Caliph Anjal Bey, El Ubaid Zacharias Doucai, Micattura All for Me, Moushzad Caliph and Moushzad Calipha Orlie.
Just a reminder from The Saluki Magazine Team to all saluki enthusiasts. In 2021 the deadline for the Autumn/Winter edition of The Saluki was mid September. As a decision was then taken that The Saluki would become an annual production - no Crufts 2022 edition was produced. This has meant that The Saluki - Ch Show 2022 edition will be the first opportunity for everyone to advertise any Champions made up/CC’s won/plus any other significant wins outside of the show ring for over a year.
Advertising rates plus copy dates are listed below. Whilst content is obviously an important part of The Saluki – sometimes it is overlooked that adverts have also contributed significantly to saluki archival material over the years. Your support would be very much appreciated.

The SGHC has posted the following: “It was agreed that instead of a Limit Show for 2023, an open show would be run, to allow as many people to have eligible dogs as possible at the shows in the centenary year. The show is April 23rd at Roade Village Hall in Northamptonshire. It will be followed by the AGM and there will be a lunch for the centenary too. Arrangements for lunch TBC, but it will be the first club get together of the special year, hence wanting as many people possible to be able to enter.
The judge who won the ballot is Luke Johnston.”
