The hot, dry weather seems to have come to an end and we are now in more typical weather.  We really need the rain but not on show day.  Today Bournemouth Championship Show was held, because of the rain all judging was held in the wet weather rings.  Judging Salukis was Mrs Zena Thorn-Andrews. 
She chose for her DCC, BOB & BP Steve and Ann Ham’s Aus Ch Crisnick Houdini (IMP) TAF NAF.  He was born on 30th August 2017 and his breeders are Mr C & Mrs N Lawton.  His sire is Ch Baghdad Karim  (IMP)Sh CM   and dam, Aus Ch Baghdad Bint Al Kaliq.  RDCC went to the winner of the Veteran Class, Connie De Souza’s Ch Sufeina Jebel Ali.  BCC for her second CC went to Tony and Liz Quick’s Noushzad Caliana at Jorjenjo (IMP) with the RBCC to Josh Duddell, Brian Mansell and Luke Johnston’s Ch Canerikie Catalina.  Houdini won the Hound Puppy Group so we wish him ‘good luck’ when he returns for Best Puppy in Show
