I have heard from Daphne Parnham. She has said that Tony did not have Parkinson (sorry, my fault) but he has PSP which is Progressive Supranuclear Palsy which was the reason he was ill for so long.
Results are just in from the first championship show of 2020 where Salukis were scheduled but CCs were not on offer. Judging was Simon Burton. Best Bitch, Best of Breed and Hound Group 1 went to Mary Sanders Parker’s Ch Classicus Britannia JW Sh CM

On Saturday 11thJanuary is Hound Day at Boston & District Championship Show. We do not have CCs but our judge, Simon Burton has 10 classes to judge. He has an entry of 16 Salukis making 21 entries. Group judge is Pam Mottershall.

She has also sent a notification that The Northern Saluki Club is hosting a Breed Appreciation Day on 28th March at Tankersley Welfare Hall, Pilley Lane, Tankersley, Barnsley, S75 3AP, which is just off junction 36 of the M1. Start time 10.00 a.m., finishing round 16.00 hrs. Cost for BAD only £15, BAD and MCE £25, the latter includes lunch. Speakers for the day are Adele Haddon, Mary Sanders Parker, Denise Rogers and Denise Garratt.
