Having had a quick look at the Kennel Club ‘Find a Judge’, for 2023. Judging at Hound Assoc, not as I previously stated, is Mrs F. Hanney-Mitchell.  Judging at Crufts 2025 will be Ute Lennartz from Germany.  Ute is a regular visitor to this country.  She is the owner of Mata Salamata’s kennel.  She has judged in the UK on three occasions.  1998 Richmond, 2009 Paignton and 2016, Southern Counties.  (information provided by Paul Shimmin). The judge for Crufts 2024 has yet to be osted.
A reminder for all those attending LKA regarding car parking “Car parking tickets can be obtained from the machines in the Atrium - CARD PAYMENT ONLY. The NEC have kindly offered our exhibitors the opportunity to pre-pay the car parking charge of £8. These can be obtained from the NEC car parking web page: https://parking.thenec.co.uk/NECBirminghamBooking. Please read the Terms & Conditions carefully. Pre-Paid Standard and Disabled parking doesn’t guarantee you a specific space (you’ll be directed to park in one of the standard car parks available for your show) but it will save you time by not having to queue and pay at the ticket kiosks when you get to the NEC. Please remember to print your parking ticket at home, you will need to hand your ticket to the Car Park Attendant as you leave the car park. “
Yesterday we went out to a secure ‘dog field’ of nine acres in North Wiltshire. where under the guardianship of Mike Strong the new SGHC lure machine was tried out.  We were truly blessed with gorgeous weather to ensure the day went well.  Also there was Lina Hoggren and her partner James Allen.  I am so pleased to report that the machine worked splendidly so lure coursing will now be a part of the club’s activities.   Mike has asked for volunteers to work as stewards and in other compacities.  If you think you might be interested in helping on the day, please contact Mike on E: Mail mikestrong743@gmail.com or tel. 01793 752598
