Little news about, except for results of Championship dog shows.  The shows seem to be coming fast and furious this year. On Saturday 6thof July, Karen Fisher (Ruweis Salukis) judged at East Of England Championship Show.  Whilst we were basting in hot sunshine here in the south, at the showground the weather was wet and cold.  The chill was kept abated by a lovely get-together to celebrate the crowning of Nicola Warner & Bernie Hetherington’s new champion, Canapus Rodina At Savuka(IMP NDL).  BCC, BOB for her first CC went to Maya Monk-Schenk’s Al Zubeyda Mahabbah (IMP FRA). She was born on the 24thOctober 2016.  Her breeder is Jean Luc Lemouzy.  Her sire is Multi Ch Baklava’s Special Edition and her dam is Multi Ch Al Zubeyda Fawziah.  RBCC went to Anna & Ben Freegard’s Jazalle Athena For Mumtaz.  DCC for his 2ndCC went to Jeannette Cotterill’s Miskanda The Grey Gatsby with RDCC to Diane Layton-Smith’s Elviis Al Noushafarin Velourias (IMP AUS).  Best Puppy was Diane Layton-Smith’s  Velourias Pris Von Schmidt .  Best Special; Beginner was Miss D Simpson’s Zxylasahlaam Gea’rr.  
 
On Saturday of this week, The Hound Association held their championship show, Due to the fact that the grounds were in poor condition, all judging was held indoors.  Judging Salukis was Gavin Robertson a hound specialist.  For his DCC, BOB he chose the newly crowned Classicus Baroque At Ravensett owned by Mr G &  Mrs S Littlechild with the RDCC to Debbie Copperthwaite’s Ch Al Caliphs Anjal Bey. Bitch CC for her first CC went to Sharon Littlechild’s Dabka’s Vincenca At Ravensett.  She was born on 17thFebruary 2018  and her breeder is Mrs L M Selholm Perssoin.  Her sire is Elamir Faiz Al Andaluz and her dam, Swedish Ch Boye Bami Bahar Alqon.  RBCC went to Mary Sanders Parker’s Ch Classicus Brittania JW Sh CM.  Best Puppy was Natasha Hamilton’s  Alishamar Roxane, Best Veteran was Elaine Sydney’s Multi Ch Daxlore Harani Of Shaybani Esp J Ch.,  Best Special Beginner went to Patricia & Michelle ‘s Fernlark Legend of Cornhaze JW. After judging there was a get together to celebrate Baroque’s new championship title.
