Friday was the turn of Darlington Championship Show.  The entry was quite
low with quite a few absentees.  Pity, as last year we attended this show and felt it was an enjoyable show.  Entries for Salukis have seemed to be decreasing on this second half of 2017.  Judging was Mrs A Lancashire.  BOB, BCC, Hound Group 3, for her first CC was Josh Duddell, Brian Mansell and Luke Johnston’s Canerikie Catalina.  Her breeders are Mr B Mansell and Mrs J Duddell.  She was born on 25th August 2016.  Her sire is Ch Jorjenjo Mirza of Fernlark JW and Her dam is Ch Jasmine of Canerikie (IMP ITA) JW with the RBCC, BV to Denise Garratt & Sue Oakey’s Ch Caryna Meilishia Sh CM.  DCC for his 6th CC was Ch Mumtaz Hercules owned by Joan & Jimmy Cowie with the RDCC to Caroline & John Owen’s Ch Caryna Curetes.  Best Puppy went to the Freegards’ Jazalle Athena for Mumtaz.

If you cannot enter the show perhaps you could support it by offering to sponsor one of our Special Rosettes at £10.00 each or a class rosette at £6.00 per class.  Items for raffle, welfare and silent auction (These need not necessarily be Saluki orientated)
 
Judging for dogs will start at 9.30a.m. followed, after lunch, by bitches.  Please order your catalogues with entries as there will be very few available for sale on the day.
