I have received a communications from David Hartley regarding welfare.  He currently has two dogs that are looking for new homes.  Both are males, one a red and the other a black tri.  Both dogs temperaments has been assessed so if you think you can help them find a new, forever home, please contact David on 01282 842617.
 
Congratulations to Alan Bloomfield’s Ch Glenoak Jabari JW Sh CM on winning Best Veteran in Show at the Border Counties Hound Show.  I can remember many moons ago when Border Counties use to have CCs for Salukis.  It was always an enjoyable show to attend.  I wish them good luck for the future.  The only new champ show is Boston, which has classes for Salukis but no CCs.  I am somewhat surprised that South Eastern Hound Club has not every been allotted CC status.  That reminds me that Nick Bryce-Smith phoned to say that Marie will be in charge of the Saluki refreshment table at their upcoming show.  Marie can be contacted at 01432 327573
 
A big congratulations to Laura Macro, club member of SGHC and daughter of Jenny and Steve Macro.  On Sunday, 18th June, she and her partner Steph Clutterbubk won senior womans double at  the Henley Ladies Regatta.  Both are students at Bath University.
