I am pleased to announce that the Saluki or Gazelle Hound Club web site is updated and working.  That is thanks to the hard work of Michelle Ulyatt.
We intend to keep on top of the site with events and activities.  If you are a member and would like to advertise an upcoming litter please contact Carolyn McCormick Smith and she will guide you through the process. 
 
Last Thursday Manchester championship Show was held.  This was the beginning of a new era as Manchester is now one of the ‘Showcase’ shows meaning all KC approved breeds will have Challenge Certificates.  Judging Salukis was Keith Thornton.  DCC, BOB was Jeannette & Alan Glaister’s Ch Classicus Cassander JW Sh CM with the RDCC to the Littlechild’s Classicus Baroque At Ravensett.  BCC went to the Mansell, Duddell, Johnston parternship’s Ch Canerikie Catalina JW, with RBCC to Mary Sanders-Parker’s newly crowned Ch Classicus Britannia JW ShCM Best Puppy went to Hilary Davies & Christine Harrison’s Classicus Alchemy for Charrioak.  Best Veteran was Katherine Williams’s Bermuda & UK Ch Ulmarra Tropical Ice At Winton.
 
Congratulations to Denise Garratt and Sue Oakey with their new addition, a Greyhound puppy bitch. Not only did they win Best Puppy in their breed classes but they went on to win the Puppy Hound Group with Inchydoney Memories Oh My God with Caryna (IMP).
