Friday, in glorious weather, Windsor Championship Show was held. It was nice seeing friends that we have not seen for a while. Cecilia Andersson’s parents were over from Sweden to celebrate her birthday. Brigitta and Bjorn Backstrom were also over for their annual trip to visit with Tessa and Tim Abbott. They were all looking fine. With them was Ann Birrell whom we have not seen for a while. I believe she was splitting her time watching the Salukis and the Whippets. Clair Chryssolor was over from Texas enjoying her day stewarding in the big ring. Windsor had very much a party atmosphere. Judging Salukis was breed specialist Nicola Quadling. She chose for her BOB, DCC the newly crowned Fernlark By Design JW owned by the Gouldens. RDCC went to Janet and David Steel’s Dawnchase Zamir. BCC for her third and qualifying CC went to Denise and Ian Rogers’ Lebakan Chiffonier. She was born on the 17th August 2010 and her breeder is her exhibitor. Her sire is Ch Sunswift Azbak Labakan and her dam Ch Labakan Chantilly. RBCC and Best Puppy went to the Mansell, Duddell, Johnston partnership’s Canerikie Catalina. Best Veteran was Sufeina Jebel Ali owned by Connie De Souza. Helen Williams Kasaque565@gmail.com
